The Battlefield 3 simulator!

Like many people, you probably expect Battlefield 3 with some interest. Maybe you pushed the Vice to replace your TV and audio system for the day of its release. Very well, but know that you will not enjoy it as well as the geniuses of the show The Gadget Show, which set up the simulator to actually feel the ultimate experience Battlefield 3 . With a 360 degree environment following your gaze, an omnidirectional treadmill to track your movements, an infrared gun, and 12 paintball guns to shoot at you when you get hit by bullets. We knew that Battlefield 3 will hurt on its release, but not so!

Battlefield 3 texture pack explained

DICE made some clarifications about the famous HD textures pack that can be installed on the hard drive of Xbox 360. If you decide to install the pack the textures will be exactly the same as on PS3 and PC, the difference is that some do not have an Xbox 360 hard drive, unlike the PS3 which will move the files de facto. Therefore, the only way to keep the same report was to make it an optional installation on the machine from Microsoft. Of course, if you have a console without storage device, you can still enjoy the game.

Battlefield 3 assault rifles

M16A4

The M16 is an American assault rifle designed by The Armalite Corporation in 1957. It was first put into service in 1963, becoming the standard US assault rifle by 1969, replacing the M14 rifle. The M16 fires the 5.56x45mm NATO round, and, with its long barrel, can be very accurate at medium to long ranges. The M16 has a rate of fire of around 700-950 rounds per minute, depending on the model of AR15. The M16A1, A2 and A4 variants fire in three-round, while the original M16 and A3 variants can fire fully-automatic. Variants of the M16 rifles have been featured throughout the Battlefield series.

M416

M416 is the American designation for the HK416, an assault rifle made by German firearms company Heckler & Koch in 2005. A heavily modified version of the M4 Carbine, the M416 fires the 5.56x45mm NATO round, which allows it to use STANAG magazines from other NATO weapons, but also makes the M416 fairly deadly at medium to long range. The gun has a rate of fire of around 850 rounds per minute, which is relatively standard for an Assault Rifle, and can mount optics, grenade launchers and grips to the numerous Picatinny rails mounted on the weapon.

F2000

The F2000 (French: Fusil 2000; English: Rifle 2000) is a bullpup assault rifle made by the Belgian firearms company FN Herstal. Designed in the late-1990s, the F2000 is a compact assault rifle that fires the 5.56x45mm NATO round, allowing the F2000 to be deadly at medium range yet compact and easy to carry, due to its bullpup configuration. FN's GL1 grenade launcher can be attached to the weapon's handguard, while optics can be fitted to a Picatinny rail mounted on the top of the receiver. The F2000 has a high rate of fire compared to other assault rifles (850 rounds per minute) and can use STANAG magazines from most NATO assault rifles.

AEK-971

The AEK-971 is a Russian-made prototype assault rifle designed by Sergey I. Koksharov in the 1970s at the Kovrov Machinebuilding Plant in Kovrov, Russia. The rifle was designed for the Russian Army's "Abakan" test trial in the 1980s to replace the AK-74 with a more accurate and modernized assault rifle. Despite failing the Army's trial, it went on to be produced for Russian police forces and for export.
The AEK-971 fires the 5.45x39mm M74 round, which is standard for most Russian assault rifles (after 1974), and uses the 30-round magazine from the AK-74. It can fit a GP-30 40mm grenade launcher, which can boost it's destructive capability.

AK-74M

The AK-74 is a Soviet assault rifle designed in 1974 by Mikhail Kalashnikov. It is an improved version of the AK-47, and was the standard assault rifle of the Soviet armed forces from 1974 to 1991, and is still the standard rifle for Russia and other post-Soviet states. It uses the higher velocity, smaller, and more accurate 5.45x39mm. It also features a foldable stock on some models, and polymer furniture and magazines versus the wood and metal used on the AK-47 and AKM. The AK-74 uses a standard 30 round box magazine it can also use a 45-60 round box magazines or a 100 round drum. It can also be fitted with optics, a GP-30 grenade launcher, a standard bayonet, and other accessories.

AN-94
The AN-94 (Russian: Avtomat Nikonova 1994; English: Automatic Nikonov model 1994), also known as the Abakan, is an advanced Russian assault rifle designed by Gennadiy Nikonov in 1994. The AN-94 Abakan fires the 5.45x39mm round which is a lighter and more accurate version of the powerful 7.62x39mm round. It uses some of the features of the AK-74, such as the 30 round magazine and the pistol grip, but is otherwise a completely new gun. It has a special 2 round burst setting, utilizing a system known to Russians as "blowback shifted pulse," that negates the recoil until after the second round has fired, so that accuracy isn't compromised, and also allows each burst to fire at the rate of 1800 rounds per minute.

G3

The G3 is a battle rifle designed in 1959 and manufactured by German small arms producer Heckler & Koch. It is a selective-fire weapon chambered for the 7.62x51mm NATO cartridge, is typically fed from a 20-round detachable box magazine, and has a fire rate of 500 to 600 rounds per minute depending on the variant. There are four variants of the G3 that currently exist. The most recent incarnation of the rifle is the A4 variant, which possesses a collapsible stock.

VSS
The AS "Val" (Russian: Автомат Специальный "Вал", 'Avtomat Special'nyj "Val"' ) is a Russian made suppressed assault rifle designed for the Spetsnaz. It is the carbine version of the VSS sniper rifle. The magazine holds 20-30 9x39mm bullets. It shared the same action as it's sister weapon, the VSS. It has a high rate of fire, 900 rounds/min.
It has an AK-type side mount for various optical sights, including the 4x PSO-1 scope and night sights calibrated for use with the 9x39mm round. The standard open sights are graduated up to 400m in 25m increments.

Steyr Aug

Khaybar KH2002

The KH-2002 is an Iranian indigenously produced 5.56 mm bullpup rifle, built on what seems to be a bullpup conversion of the DIO S-5.56 assault rifle, an Iranian version of the Chinese Norinco CQ rifle, which itself is a clone of the M16-A1 . It is similar in appearance to the FAMAS assault rifle. It is intended to replace the ageing G3 in the Iranian Military.
