Battlefield 3 submachine guns

Battlefield 3 submachine guns

AKS 74U

The FN P90 is a Personal Defense Weapon made by FN Herstal, a Belgian military small arms producer. Introduced in 1990, it was sold in Saudi Arabia. Soon after, the weapon became popular with defense forces in over 40 countries, such as the United States Secret Service. The PS90 is a version gun available for civilian purchase and use.

SCAR-H

The SCAR-H is a modular, modern battle rifle made by FN Herstal. The SCAR-H differs from the SCAR-L in that it utilizes a smaller magazine, larger 7.62mm round, and longer barrel.

G36C

The Heckler & Koch G36C is a carbine produced and manufactured by German small arms designer Heckler & Koch. The weapon uses 5.56x45mm NATO rounds fed by non-standard translucent 30-round magazines, with a rate of fire of 750 rounds per minute.

SG553

The SG553LB is a a shortened version of the SG550. It fires the 5.56x45mm NATO bullet from a 20 or 30 round magazine at 700 RPM. The LB version sports a slightly longer barrel to mount bayonets and grenade launchers.

P90

The FN P90 is a Personal Defense Weapon made by FN Herstal, a Belgian military small arms producer. Introduced in 1990, it was sold in Saudi Arabia. Soon after, the weapon became popular with defense forces in over 40 countries, such as the United States Secret Service. The PS90 is a version gun available for civilian purchase and use.

MP7

The MP7 is a German submachine gun made by Heckler & Koch. Its 4.6x30mm cartridge gives it excellent abilities against body armour, while retaining the size and portability of a Personal Defence Weapon (PDW).

PP-2000

The PP-2000 (Russian: Pistolet pulemet 2000; English: Machine Pistol 2000) is a Russian machine pistol designed by the KBP Instrument Design Bureau.

PDW-R

The Magpul PDR (Personal Defense Rifle) is a compact bullpup-style 5.56x45mm carbine being developed by Magpul Industries. Although still in development, it has garnered some attention, largely due to its "futuristic" appearance. The system consists of a gas-operated bullpup intended to replace some submachine guns, M9 pistols and M4 Carbines while still offering the rapid fire and range of a M4 carbine in an ultra compact firearm.

M4A1

The M4 Carbine is a firearm tracing its lineage back to the earlier carbine versions of the M16, all based on the original AR-15 made by ArmaLite. It is a shorter and lighter version of the M16A2, with 80% parts commonality with the M16A2. The M4A1 has selective fire options including semi-automatic and full-auto. It fires the 5.56x45mm NATO round, and is suitable for C.Q.C. Although the M4 has less effective range than the longer M16, many military analysts consider engagement with a non-specialized small arm above a range of 300 meters (330 yd) to be unnecessary. It is effective at ranges of 150 meters (160 yd) or less and has a maximum effective range of about 500 to 600 meters (550–660 yd).

UMP-45

The UMP .45 (Universale Maschinenpistole, German for "Universal Machine Pistol") is a submachine gun developed and manufactured by Heckler & Koch used in the Battlefield series. The UMP is a blowback-operated, magazine-fed submachine gun firing from a closed bolt. As originally designed, the UMP is chambered for larger cartridges than other submachine guns like the MP5, to provide more stopping power against unarmored targets (with a slightly lower effective range) than the 9x19mm MP5 provides. A larger cartridge produces more recoil, and makes control more difficult in fully automatic firing. To mitigate this, the cyclic rate of fire was reduced to 650 rounds/min (600 rounds/min for the UMP45), which makes it one of the slower firing submachine guns on the market.
